The Clap Back on the Contraceptive Patch campaign is calling out the lack of inclusivity of all skin tones in the contraceptive patch.

We are petitioning Gedeon Richter, the current manufacturer of the EVRA patch in the UK, because it is currently only available in one tone, rendering it unsuitable for those with darker skin. The patch has been a popular global contraception method for over two decades, delivering progestogen and oestrogen through direct skin application.

This call for inclusivity is long overdue.
